Vinyl Vandals is a collaborative art project combining record collecting and music culture with Graffiti/Art.

Artists are selected for their unique skills, techniques, and styles. The show draws inspiration from sampling in Hip Hop/DJ culture. Artists choose record covers that appeal to them musically or visually and remix them to create new works of art. Just as DJs and producers sampled from various musical genres to create Hip-Hop and club records, Vinyl Vandals artists dig in the crates to rework old covers into fresh masterpieces.
